Obituary of Jean D. Gray

Jean Delores Higgins Gray, age 88, a longtime Boothwyn, PA resident passed away peacefully on February 17, 2018 surrounded by her loving family at home. Born in Rising Sun, MD, she is the daughter of the late Ray and Catherine Higgins as well as the sister of the late Dottie Wyatt and the late Ollie Higgins and survived by her brother, Jim (Joan) Higgins of Aston, PA. Married on December 23, 1949 to Edward Gray, Jean's greatest joy and accomplishment was the nurture and care of her family. She built a legacy of her daughters Patti (Bill) Gray Dunkin of West Chester and Penny Gray of Sarasota, FL; her grandchildren Catherine (Tom) Zickgraf of Evans, GA; Michael (Carol) Dunkin of Lemont, IL; David (Becky) Dunkin of Springfield; Christine (Allan) Douglas of Nashville, TN; and Frank (Jen) Pettoruto of Pembroke Pines, FL; and 13 great-grandchildren: Stephen Alexander (27), Joshua Seth (16), Ethan Edmund (13), Josiah Stephen (12), Amelia Rose (11), Daniel Joseph (9), Adam William (9), Fiona Jean (8), Collin Elliott (5), Eloise Gray (5), Xavier Falcon (4), Hannah Grace (2), and Kelvin Kingfisher (18 mo.). A viewing will be held on Friday, 10-11AM followed by funeral services at 11AM at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd., Garnet Valley, PA. Interment, Lawn Croft Cemetery, Linwood, PA.
