Obituary of Jeraldine F. Blomgren

Jeraldine F. Blomgren, 75, passed away peacefully at home with her loving family present on Friday, February 16, 2018 in Wilmington, Delaware. Born in Philadelphia and a former longtime resident of Garnet Valley, PA, she is preceded in death by her parents, John George Frank and Florence Haggerty Frank. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, J. Howard Blomgren; her children, Maureen, Patrick and Laura Blomgren, and her sister Florence "Flossie" McDade.

Jerri ran her own daycare from her home and she loved helping children who knew her as "Mum-Mum Jerri". She enjoyed her family, friends and the holidays - especially Christmas since it was also her birthday. Her favorite pastime was shooting longboard shuffleboard at The American Legion 951. She loved riding in the convertible with the top down on warm, sunny afternoons, happy and carefree.

Jerri will be remembered as a devoted wife, loving mother, great friend and sweetheart to those she met along life's journey. She had a beautiful soul, was a genuine red-head and will be missed by many.

Jerri's life will be celebrated on Thursday, February 22, 2018 by her family, friends and our Pekingese, Henry. The viewing will be held from 10-11 o'clock followed by a Funeral Service at 11 o'clock, at Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd., Garnet Valley, PA. Interment private.
