Obituary of Alice B. Anthony

Alice B. Anthony, age 75 of Claymont, DE, died peacefully on February 3, 2018, at home with her husband and daughters by her side. Born to the late Jerome and Nanna Clendening Brown in Upland, PA. She resided most of her life in Claymont, DE. An active member at Concord Baptist Church and later Marcus Hook Baptist Church, Alice is remembered for her ministries of Christian school teaching, Sunday school teaching and AWANA clubs. She enjoyed gardening, birding, reading, & the Philadelphia sports teams. She was a devoted wife, mother & grandmother. Alice is survived by her husband of 55 years, Donald E. Anthony, her children, Dianne (Darrell) Leahy, Donna (Bob) Craig, Debbie Anthony & Donald Anthony, Jr., siblings, Marge Strand, Ruth Fox & Christopher Brown, a sister-in-law Myrtle Anthony and 3 grandchildren, Darrell (Jessica), Kimberly & Emily. A viewing will be held on Wednesday 6:00-7:30PM at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd. Garnet Valley, PA followed by a funeral service at 7:30 pm. Private internment.
