Obituary of Jean M. Schiavo

Jean M. Schiavo, age 94, of Garnet Valley, PA passed away peacefully on February 1, 2018. Born in Philadelphia, Jean has resided in the Garnet Valley area for 22 years and previously in Folcroft, PA. She was an Assistant Manager for Fidelity/Wachovia Bank and later with Pilgrim Insurance in Folcroft, PA. Devoted to her faith, she was a member of Holy Child Catholic Church. She also enjoyed playing the organ and baking. In addition to her parents, John and Dena Mancini Pietrafesa, she is preceded in death by her husband, Peter A. Schiavo who died in 1984, a son, Mark Schiavo, and a sister Doris Cirillo. She is survived by her good friends, William & Christine Graham Jr. and Debbie and Joe Pargola, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Joe and Terri Schiavo and Dee and Richard Zappasoda and several other family members. A viewing will be held on Tuesday, 11-12 Noon at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd, Garnet Valley, PA followed by a Funeral Liturgy at 12:00 Noon. Interment, S.S. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.
