Obituary of Edward R. DeMeglio

Edward R. DeMeglio, age 77, of Fortescue, NJ passed away on January 19, 2018. Raised in the Marcus Hook area, Edward has resided in Fortescue, NJ since 1985, previously residing in Aston, PA. A roofer by trade, he owned and operated his own roofing company. He was a long time Elvis Presley and Philadelphia eagles fan. Edward enjoyed crabbing, fishing and playing the guitar. Edward is preceded in death by his parents, Philip DeMeglio and mother, Lucy Walker. In addition, he is preceded in death by a son, William John DeMeglio and siblings Gary, David, Gene and Rebecca Speed, Philip DeMeglio and Webber. He is survived by his beloved wife of 56 years, Mary Anne Larkin DeMeglio and 5 children, Deborah DeMeglio, Edward A. DeMeglio, Marylou DeMeglio, Holly DeMeglio-Burke and Dawn DeMeglio-Clemens and husband John, 2 brothers William Crowder and Leonard Speed, 15 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. A viewing will be held on Monday, January 29th, from 10-11AM at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd., Garnet Valley, PA followed by a funeral service at 11AM interment, Lawn Croft Cemetery, Linwood, PA.
