Obituary of Margaret L. Preston

Margaret L. "Peggy" Preston, age 84, passed away peacefully on January 21, 2018. Born and raised in Morton, PA, Peggy resided in Glen Mills PA and Mesa, AZ for many years. A graduate from Ridley High School, class of 1951, Peggy worked in the banking industry for 30 years before retiring in 1993. Peggy was devoted to her faith and family. In her spare time, Peggy enjoyed attending the Phillies games, watching the "Wheel of Fortune" or just solving crossword puzzles. In addition to her parents, Samuel and Ethel Magnier Lobb, Peggy is preceded in death by her husband, William E. Preston Sr. Who died in 2007 as well as 8 siblings. She is survived by 2 sons, William (Marybeth) Preston of Glen Mills and Steve Preston of NY, 2 stepsons, Dave (Eileen) Preston of West Grove PA and Allan (Mary) Preston of Media, 7 grandchildren, Ryan, Dana, James, Matt, Nathan, Philip and Jacob, and several great grandchildren. A viewing will be held on Thursday, 10-11AM at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd., Garnet Valley, PA followed by a Funeral Service at 11AM. Interment, Edgewood Memorial Park, Glen Mills, PA. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Assn. (www.alz.org).
