Obituary of Josephine A. King

Josephine A. King, age 86, of Boothwyn, PA passed away on January 17, 2018. Born in Chester, PA, Josephine has resided in Boothwyn for 34 years previously residing in Claymont, DE. Josephine retired from Shop-n-Bag in Claymont where she was a clerk. She is a member of St. John Fisher Catholic Church. She was devoted to her faith and family and was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. In addition to her parents, Michael and Concetta Borello Liberatore, she is preceded in death by a son, Jeremiah News who died in 2004, a stepdaughter, Kathleen King who died in 1998 and siblings, Dora Iacona, Pete Liberatore and Anne Bottino. She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Raymond M. King, a son, John News & wife Rosemary of Glen Mills, PA, 5 stepchildren, Margaret (Calvin ) Reeves, RuthAnn (Claude) Garber, Raymond (Patricia) King, Theresa King and Patricia (Gerry) Pepeta, a brother, Domenic Liberatore, 7 grandchildren, 16 step-grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren & 10 step-great grandchildren and 2 step great great grandchildren. A viewing will be held on Tuesday evening, 6-8PM at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd., Garnet Valley, PA and again on Wednesday morning, 9:30AM - 10:15AM at St. John Fisher Catholic Church followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:30AM. Interment, Lawn Croft Cemetery, Linwood, PA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association (www.alz.org).
