Obituary of Steven C. Shaw

Steven C. Shaw, age 62, of Garnet Valley, PA passed away suddenly on January 17, 2018. Born in Chester, Steve has resided in the Bethel Twp. section of Garnet Valley for 39 years and previously in Brookhaven, PA. Employed by Exelon Energy for over 40 years, he retired in 2015. Steve had a hobby for woodworking and coin collecting. He could always be found throughout the years watching his children and grandchildren's sporting events. He also enjoyed cruises with his wife sightseeing different parts of the world. His greatest joy was spending time with his grandchildren whom he cherished. Steve is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Marilyn Cochran Shaw. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Michele (Golden) Shaw, children, Steven Shaw and wife Kathleen, Michael Shaw and wife Sarah, Kelly Shaw and Adrienne Shaw and fiancé Ryan Monastra, siblings, Carolynn Yarnell, Jeffrey Shaw and Shelley Gabries, and 5 grandchildren, Brandon, Lauren, Victoria, Justin and Harper. A visitation will be held on Monday, 9-11AM at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd., Garnet Valley, PA followed by a Memorial Service at 11AM. Interment will remain private. In lieu of flowers, donations in Steven's memory may be made to the Brandywine Youth Club, (BYC) P.O. Box 955, Media, PA 19063.
