Obituary of James R. Tims

James R. Tims Sr., age 78, of Boothwyn, PA passed away peacefully on January 17, 2018. A resident of Philadelphia since birth, Jim has resided in Boothwyn since 2005, previously residing in Runnemede, NJ. A retired electrician, he was employed with Local 98 in Philadelphia. Jim was a member of St. John Fisher Catholic Church. He enjoyed his family and spending time with his grandchildren, especially at the Jersey shore. In addition to his parents, Jim is preceded in death by 12 siblings. He is survived by his wife, Carole Tims (nee) Lehman, children, James Jr., Michelle (Patrick) Guinan and Michael (Rose), a brother, William, and 6 grandchildren, Emma, Patrick, Allison, Ben, Kevin and Michael. A viewing will be held on Saturday, 8:30-10:00AM followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:30AM at St. John Fisher Church, 4225 Chichester Ave., Boothwyn, PA. Burial, private.
