I will always cherish my friendship with Betty as we worked together as nurses for almost 30 years at DCMH. We had many good times together, meeting each day for coffee as well as lunch and sharing family and work news. I learned much from her both professionally and personally. Betty was a dear friend and not just a co worker. She often offered advice which many times helped me throughout my career and life. Every year she would send me a card for nurses' day as well as at Christmas time. She was a great mother, always looking out for her children and we often shared our concerns as our children grew. Her family meant everything to her and when she met you, John, the sparkle in her eyes enlarged. John, you made her so happy and treated her as the lady she will always be. Thank you dear friend for all your love and friendship. May you rest in peace knowing you have left many with wonderful memories. Pauline
