Obituary of Helena O'Driscoll

Helena O' Driscoll, age 80 of Glen Mills, PA died on January 12, 2018 at Rose Court Maris Grove. Daughter of the late John and Anne Carroll McNamara, she was born and raised in Philadelphia and resided in Glen Mills for the past seven years. She previously lived in Hilton Head, SC and Holland, PA. Helen served as assistant to the dean at Bucks County Community College, retiring in 2000. She graduated from Little Flower High School for Girls and was a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church. She enjoyed spending time with family, traveling, reading, beach walks on the Jersey Shore, entertaining and writing poems for special occasions. Helen is survived by Jack, her husband of 57 years, daughters Carol Ann (Steve) Zarrilli, Patty (Joe) Buggy and Jennifer (Tony) Polcini, siblings John McNamara and Anne Lefebvre and grandchildren Carly, Christopher, Brendan, Brian, Melissa, JD and Michael. A visitation will be held on Thursday, 9:30-10:30AM at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church (New Church), 430 Valleybrook Rd., Glen Mills, PA followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:45AM.
