Obituary of Janet A. Hinderhofer

Janet A. Hinderhofer, age 84, a longtime resident of Wilmington, DE passed away suddenly on Wednesday, January 3, 2018 in Wilmington Hospital. Janet was born and raised in Chester, PA where she graduated from Chester High School in 1951. While there, she excelled in many sports. She also met her beloved husband, Donald, of 65 years. She loved watching Philadelphia sports. She was a devout fan of the Phillies never missing a game. She always put family first in all of her endeavors. She was most happy surrounded by family. She is survived by her husband, Donald, her daughter Bonnie (Chris) Larsen, son Gary Hinderhofer and a daughter-in-law Debbie Hinderhofer. Her oldest son, Don, had recently passed away on November, 2017. She is also survived by her brother Bill (Judy) Fullerton, sisters, Virginia (Bill) Wright, and Ruth Sparks. Additionally, she is survived by her loved 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to your favorite charity. A private ceremony will be held at Lawn Croft Cemetery.
