Obituary of Bernadine Marie Gaines

Bernadine Marie Gaines, age 91 of Trainer, PA died on December 25, 2017 at The Belvedere. Born to the late Alexander and Sara Wilson LaChette, she was raised in Swarthmore, PA. Bernadine was a resident of Trainer, PA for over 60 years. She was employed as a Bus Aide for the Penn Delco School District for 16 years before her retirement. Bernadine was the 1st Councilwoman in the Borough of Trainer. She was active in politics, was an avid reader and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Eli Warren Gaines who died in 2003 and 3 siblings, Bud LaChette, Joan Bruni and Alexander LaChette Jr.. Bernadine is survived by 5 children, Saranne "Dee" Turner, Warren Gaines, William K. (Joan) Gaines, Steven (Elaine) Gaines and Robert Gaines, a sister, Kenny Touhey, a brother, Tony LaChette, 7 grandchildren, A great granddaughter BreAnna and 7 other great grandchildren & 2 great great grandchildren.
