Obituary of Jane Marie Johnson

Janina Morawska Johnson (Jane), age 100, of Upper Chichester, PA passed away on December 5, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. Born to the late Alexander and Antoinette Morawska in the Port Richmond section of Philadelphia where she lived until she married the love of her life, Rudolf Wotring Johnson in 1936. Jane is predeceased by four sisters – Marie, Helen, Stella, Jean; and three brothers – John, Joseph, and Edward. She raised her family in Eddystone, PA and is predeceased by her two daughters, Joan Daliessio (Tom) and Maria Boyle (Bob). Jane worked at Reynolds Springs for many years while raising her family with her beloved Rudy who passed away in 1997. Affectionately known as "Nanny", she was the proud Grandmother of six grandchildren including Karen Cardow (Ed) and Susan Grasty (Charlie) and great-grandmother to eleven including Sarah (Michael Brumbaugh), Emily, and Samantha Cardow and Charlie and Tom Grasty who were the lights of her life. These family members felt it a blessing to care for her at home and enjoyed their wonderful time together. Nanny loved her family above all else and will eternally be in their hearts. She was full of love and happiness and spread it to everyone she knew. Jane is sadly missed by her family and care givers who will think of her often with love and a smile.
