Obituary of Barbara E Brumbaugh

Barbara E. Brumbaugh, age 80 of Wilmington, DE died on November 22, 2017 at Cadia Rehabilitation in Wilmington, DE. Born to the late Theodore & Anna Clark Kirlin in Chester, PA, Barbara has resided in Boothwyn, PA and Millsboro, DE. A Bookkeeper for 12 years , Barbara retired from Fulton Bank in Georgetown, DE. After retiring she became involved in the Millsboro Senior Center, starting as a member and eventually devoting her time as a board member and office administration. She loved spending time with her family and spoiled all of her grandkids and great grandkids. She devoted her whole life to caring for others and lending a helping hand whenever and wherever she could. She enjoyed spending time at the beach, crocheting, and making crafts for her family, especially for Christmas. She made mountains of memories for her family and was special to so many. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Melvin Brumbaugh Jr. , a brother, Theodore Kirlin Jr., and a grandson, Ashley Hanna. Barbara is survived by 3 Children, Linda (Leland) Hanna, Laura Rutter & Lois (William) Clements, 5 grandchildren & 4 great grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Friday, December 1, 2017 from 1-2PM at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd. Garnet Valley, PA followed by a Memorial Service at 2:00PM. Interment will remain private. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Alzheimer's Association at act.alz.org.
