Obituary of John D. Jones

John "Jackie" D. Jones, age 72 of Garnet Valley, PA died on November 20, 2017 at Regal Heights Health Care Center. Born to the late Noah E. and Harriet M. Burgess Jones in Scranton, PA, he resided for the past 28 years in Garnet Valley, PA. John dedicated his life to the United States Military serving in Infantry and as a Logistics Officer retiring in 1989. He served in the Army during the Vietnam War. John was a member of the Delaware County Field and Stream and enjoyed hunting, fishing and being with his family especially his grandchildren. In addition to his parents John is preceded in death by 3 brothers, Noah, Ronald and James Jones, and is survived by his wife of 48 years, Pratuang "Deon" Yootin Jones, 3 children, Montri "Andy" (Sherry) Jones, Linda Jones and Tina (Andre) Jones Williamson, sister, Dale Ann McElwee, 5 grandchildren, Joshua, Ny'ree and Mei'ling Williamson, Cameron and Reece Jones. A visitation will be held on Friday, 10-11AM at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd., Garnet Valley, PA followed by funeral services at 11:00AM.
