Obituary of Madeline M. Riggio

Madeline M. Riggio, age 100, formerly of Upper Chichester, PA died on October 24, 2017 at Fair Acers Geriatric Center, Lima, PA. Born and raised in Philadelphia, Madeline has resided the past 5 years in Middletown, PA, formerly residing in Upper Chichester, PA. After raising her children, Madeline worked at INA Insurance Co. in the cafeteria retiring after 20 years of service. Her passion was her family & her home. In addition to her parents, Michael and Rose Crescenza Pietrofesse, Madeline is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph P. Riggio who died in 1999 and 2 brothers, Alfred and Michael Pietrofesse. Madeline is survived by 2 sons, Robert J. Riggio Sr. and Joseph M. Riggio Sr., a sister, Evelyn Capaldi, 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Monday 9:00-9:45AM at St. Cornelius Catholic Church, 160 Ridge Road, Chadds Ford, PA 19317 followed by Funeral Mass at 10:00AM. Interment S.S.
