Obituary of Vincent A. Cianfaro
Vincent A. Cianfaro, age 85, of West Grove, PA, formerly of Glen Riddle, PA passed away peacefully on September 25, 2017 at his home. Born & raised in Philadelphia, PA, Vincent was a longtime resident of Glen Riddle, PA where he raised his family. For the past 13 years, he was a resident of West Grove, PA. He served in the Army during the Korean Conflict. Receiving his Master's in Education, he was employed by the Springfield School District teaching Science in the Junior High. Vince was devoted to his faith and most recently a member of Assumption BVM Catholic Church in West Grove, PA. He was known to participate in the Senior's Circle and their associated events. He was active in the Penn Ridge Community at his home in West Grove. Vince was an avid gardener and he enjoyed reading. He had a passion for collecting Dickens Christmas Villages, transforming his home during the Christmas holiday into an Old English Christmas Village. In addition to his parents, Vincent S. & Olive Cianfaro, he is preceded in death by his wife who passed in 2007, Evelyn Cianfaro (nee) Nardi. He is survived by 5 children, Donna (Terrance) Kraus, David Cianfaro, Vincent (Sally) Cianfaro, Edward (Danielle) Cianfaro and Anthony (Susann) Cianfaro, brother of Geraldine Lindinger, grandfather of 11. A visitation will be held on Friday, 9:30-10:30AM at Assumption BVM Church, 300 State St., West Grove, PA followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:30AM. Interment, private.
