Obituary of Richard J. Kilmer

Richard J. "Dick" Kilmer Sr., age 72, of Wallingford, PA passed away peacefully in the presence of his family at Lankanau Hospital on September 25th, 2017. A resident of Wallingford for the past 6 years, Richard was a resident of the Chichester area for many years. He was a 1964 graduate from Sun Valley High School. Employed by Flextron Industries for over 20 years, he was later employed for 13 years with the Chichester School District. Known as a sports fan, Richard had a passion for both the Phillies and the Eagles. He also had many hobbies including bowling, woodworking, building dollhouses and was an antique car enthusiast. He is preceded in death by his parents, David and Violet Kilmer Sr.. Richard is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Barbara J. Palser Kilmer, a daughter, Michelle (Richard) Haas, 3 sons, Richard J. (Kelly) Kilmer Jr., Kevin Kilmer and Brian (Chantel) Kilmer, 2 brothers, David and Robert Kilmer, a sister, Barbara Armstrong and 7 grandchildren. A viewing will be held on Friday, 10-11AM at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd., Garnet Valley, PA followed by funeral services at 11AM. Interment will remain private.
