Obituary of Marlene R. Shertenlieb

Marlene R. Shertenlieb, age 72 of Okeechobee, FL died on March 11, 2016. Born to the late Lawrence Babicki & Marguerite Dailey McKenna in Chester, she was a graduate from Notre Dame High School, class of 1962. Marlene was a longtime resident of Trainer, PA recently residing in Okeechobee, FL for the past 4 years. She was employed many years with the Chichester School District where she served as the Cafeteria Manager of the Middle School. Marlene had a passion for Bingo, playing the lottery, visiting the casinos, polar bears and she was known by all as an avid Phillies Fan. She is preceded in death by her husband, George "Fred" Shertenlieb who died in 2012. She is survived by 1 daughter, a granddaughter, Christina Trice, a sister and her husband, Marsha & Bill McClellan, her best friend who became her adopted sister, Kathy Lasch, several nephews and nieces. A viewing will be held on Friday, 10-11AM at the the Moreland-Pagano Funeral Home, 825 Main St. Trainer, PA followed by services at 11:00AM. Interment Lawn Croft Cemetery, Linwood, PA.
