Obituary of James D. Winner

James D. "Jay" Winner, age 78, of Upper Chichester, PA passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on August 23, 2017 at home. Born and raised in Upper Darby, PA, Jay has resided in Upper Chichester for 30 years. An auto mechanic by trade, Jim was employed by the Sunoco Station in Crum Lynne, PA. Jim had many hobbies, but he was known as a train enthusiast as well as coin collecting and working on cars. In addition to his parents, John and Edna Mae Worts Winner, he is preceded in death by 2 siblings. Jay leaves behind his wife of 40 years, Linda C. Brannan Winner, 2 children, James D. Winner Jr. and Lisa Ann Winner, a brother, John F. Winner, a sister, Margaret Evanson and a granddaughter, Erin Winner. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 26, 2017, 10:30AM at St. Timothy's Lutheran Church, 535 Lamp Post Lane, Aston, PA 19014. Interment will remain private
