Shirley Schmidt McWilliams, age 79 of Wilmington, DE went home to be with the Lord on August 9, 2017. Born in Chester, PA and raised in Trainer, PA, she resided for the past 57 years in Wilmington, DE. She is preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Evelyn Kosty Schmidt, 2 brothers, Donald and Edward Schmidt and is survived by her beloved husband of 59 years, Walker McWilliams, 3 children, John (Phyllis) McWilliams, Edward McWilliams and Karen (David) Cohen, 4 grandchildren, Matthew and David McWilliams, Meredith and Miles Cohen. Funeral services and interment where held privately. Donations in her memory may be made to the First Baptist Church of Ogden, 2446 Mill Road, Upper Chichester, PA 19061. Arrg.
