Obituary of Judith H. Jones

Judith "Pearl" Hodgson Jones (nee) Goodman, age 76, of Kennett Square, PA passed peacefully on July 1, 2017. Born in Philadelphia, she resided in Norwood, Delaware County for 30 years. She recently moved to Kennett Square, PA to be close to her grandchildren. Mrs. Jones graduated from Sharon Hill High School in 1959. She started her Human Resources career at Boeing and worked at Kent Dental. She retired from Wyeth in 2002. Mrs. Jones was a member of the Aston Lioness Club and the Highmeadow Civic Association. She was on avid reader, bowler, supporter of the SPCA and enjoyed traveling to southern destinations with her husband. She was the daughter of the late Robert Goodman and Sarah Lilly Goodman. She is survived by her husband of 36 years William W. Jones, Jr., son: Eric G. Hodgson (Amy), daughter: Stephanie L. Ingram (Chadd) of West Chester, PA, grandchildren: Julianna Hodgson, Olivia, and Ainsley Ingram. A Visitation will be held Friday, July 7, 2017, 10AM-11AM at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd., Garnet Valley, PA followed by funeral services at 11AM. Interment, S.S. Peter & Paul Cemetery in Springfield, PA. In lieu of flowers, Contributions may be made to the American Lung Association (www.lung.org).
