Obituary of Carolyn E. Wright

Carolyn "Nubabe" E. Wright, 81 of Upper Chichester, PA died peacefully on May 27, 2017 at Manor Care Heath Services - Wallingford. Born to the late Charles Harding Sr. and Carolyn Christine Thompson Nelson in Chester, PA, she was a lifelong resident of Brookhaven before moving to Lutheran Knolls 10 years ago. Carolyn graduated from Media High School class of 1953. After graduation she worked as a bank teller for Fidelity Bank and later teamed up with her sister and became a realtor working for Century 21 and Rappa Reality retiring in 1997. Carolyn was a member of First Church of God in Brookhaven and enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren, playing board games and shopping. In addition to her parents Carolyn is preceded in death by 4 children, John and Kevin Carpenter, Charles and Carolyn Wright and a brother Charles Harding Nelson Jr.. She is survived by her sister Doris O'Connor and 2 sons, Steven Carpenter and Gary Wright also many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Relative and friends are invited to her Memorial Service on Thursday, 11:00AM at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd., Garnet Valley, PA where friends may call from 10-11AM. Interment is private. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be sent to the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd., Garnet Valley, PA 19060.
