Obituary of Martin J. Kopishke Jr.

1959-2017

Martin J. Kopishke Jr., 57 of Havertown, PA died on May 7, 2017. Born in Philadelphia and raised in Lansdowne, he resided for the past 14 years in Havertown and was a lifelong resident of Delaware County. A truck driver for over 35 years, Martin spent the last 11 years with A. Duie Pyle, most recently hauling for Wegmans. He graduated from Upper Darby High School class of 1977, and enjoyed truck driving rodeos where he was the grand champion of the state of Maryland. Martin was a sports fan enjoying hockey and football. He is preceded in death by his parents, Martin J. Sr. and Gloria V. McNealy Kopishke and a brother, Thomas Kopishke who died in 2003. Martin is survived by his wife of 22 years, Gianine M. Breslin Kopishke, 5 children, Martin III, Robert, Andrew, Brandice and Tyler Kopishke, 5 siblings, Gloria Zettelmoyer, Barbara Smith, Janet Paoli, Susan Hunter and John Kopishke, also his grandson, Aiden Kopishke. Relative and friends are invited to his funeral service on Thursday, 11:00AM at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd., Garnet Valley, PA where friends may call from10-11AM. Interment is private.
