So sorry for your loss. I only knew John for a short time as a golf buddy at DuPont. He was always very friendly and quite a good golfer as well. He will be missed.

Laura, Amanda and Jay, Please accept our sincere condolences for the passing of our great friend John. I will always cherish the times we spent together and will forever remember the good times we all shared in the "Hood", as John would say. John was, hands down, one of the most caring, thoughtful, loving and giving person's a friend could ever ask for in this Life. Just know, we never had a conversion that he didn't share his pride and love for his wife(Sarge) children and grandchildren. My sincerest condolences to the Murtaugh family. May this lit candle shine as brightly as John did. He was loved by all who knew him, always a smile, always kind positive words. He always talked about his wife, children and grandchildren. He was a very kind, sincere man, who will be missed by anyone who knew him. His passing at such a young age is such a loss , but heaven has gained an angel for sure.
