Obituary of Charles R. White

Charles R. White, age 72, of Coatesville, PA passed peacefully on February 22, 2017. Born in Clayton, GA, Charles has resided in Coatesville for the past 8 years previously residing in Lancaster, PA. He was a veteran serving in the Army during the Vietnam War. Charles retired from the U.S. Post Office in Unionville after 10 years. He previously was employed by Phoenix Steel in Claymont for 23 years. Charles was known to be a Corvette enthusiast, however his fondest memories and enjoyment were with his family. Charles is preceded in death by his father, Clarence White and a sister, Katheryn Gorman. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Susan VanLandingham White, a daughter, Robyn (Miguel) Gracia, a son, Rick (Josephine) White, his mother, Gennie (Beck) White, 3 siblings, Harold White, Verline Passick and Ruth Walls and 3 grandchildren, Marcus, Nica and Nick. A viewing will be held on Monday, 10-11AM at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd., Garnet Valley, PA followed by funeral services at 11am. Interment, Lawn Croft Cemetery, Linwood, PA.
