Obituary of James W. Hodgson

James W. Hodgson, 74, of Upper Chichester, passed away suddenly on February 18, 2017. Jim worked at Sun Oil Company for 27 years, retiring in 1997. He was known by many as an avid Notre Dame Fan. He is predeceased by his parents, Francis and Mary (Izzi) Hodgson, and his son, Timothy Hodgson. He is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years, Penny Burkley Hodgson and a daughter, Christine Malek (Paul), grandchildren, Bryanna and Jonathan Hodgson and Kassidy, Reece and Avery Malek, great grandson, Jonathan James Hodgson, brother, Joseph Hodgson (Elaine), and his sister Lorraine Korenkiewicz (Richard), and his sister-in-law and brother-in-law Joanne and Don Houck, along with several nieces and nephews. Pop loved his grandchildren with all his heart, and was their biggest supporter. Jim also loved his Bella. A visitation will be held on Friday 10-11AM at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd, Garnet Valley, PA followed by a Funeral Service at 11AM. Interment Mount Hope Cemetery, Aston, PA.
