Mama Kate as us Groer kids affectionately called her was like a 2nd mom to us. First memories of mama Kate where at the little house on Faulk Rd., me and Joey met in KDG at Francis Harvey Green and fast became brothers. My mom new I was in good hands with mama Kate. When her and Willie bought the farm on Faulk Rd., that was right behind our house we had it made. Mama Kate took care of me and my brothers like we were her kids, feeding us, patching us up and scolding us when needed. Thank you mama Kate, I love you and will miss you. Al Groer Jr
