Obituary of Joan C. Howe

Joan C. Howe, age 86, of Philadelphia, PA passed away peacefully on December 23rd, 2024. Born in South Attleboro, MA, Joan was a long time resident of South Attleboro, MA, Pawtucket RI and East Providence, RI. Joan worked in food service for 35 years at Memorial Hospital. She was a lifetime member of Memorial Baptist Church of Seekonk. MA. Joan enjoyed photography, reading, traveling with friends, and the company of her cat Frisky. Joan was known to be very creative and a generous with gifts. She didn't like a lot of attention, but was always willing to help in any way; she brought joy to all that knew her. Joan is preceded in death by her parents, John and Nora Hyde Howe, a brother John F. Howe Jr. and a sister-in-law Barbara Howe. She is survived by 2 nephews, John (Shey) Howe and Stephen (Lisa) Howe, a niece, Donna (Daniel) Moser and many dearly loved nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 2nd, 2025 at 11:00 am at Memorial Baptist Church at 340 Central Ave., Seekonk, Mass. 02771 followed by a burial in Newell Burial Grounds, 1502 West St, South Attleboro, MA 02703.
