Obituary of Dante Addiego

Dante Addiego, 56, of Garnet Valley, PA, passed at home on December 11, 2024. Raised in Westmont, NJ, Dante spent the past 20 years residing in Garnet Valley, PA. Dante will be remembered for his masterful sketches, which he generously shared with his loved ones. As a true artist, he also composed music, played the piano, and wrote award winning poetry. Dante's creative spirit was nurtured during his education at Holy Saviour Elementary School and Bishop Eustace Preparatory School in Pennsauken, NJ from which he graduated in 1986. He later earned a bachelor's degree in Animation from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia. Dante was a loving and devoted caretaker for our mother, Jean. He loved his little dog Maggie too.

Those close to him knew that Dante was an intelligent, kind, and gentle person. He suffered with a chronic debilitating brain disease that tragically robbed him of his ability to pursue a more fulfilling life. Yet Dante always tried to smile, find humor and give love whenever he could. He was always grateful for the more simple blessings of life and love. He is a beautiful soul.

Dante was predeceased by his father, Dr. Frank Addiego, and his siblings, Dr. Raphael Addiego and Christine Addiego. He is survived by his beloved mother, Jean Addiego; his sisters, Teresa Addiego Moore, DMD (Timothy), and Francesca Addiego Bernstein (Joel); his sister-in-law, Rima Addiego; and nine cherished nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Saturday, January 4, 2025, from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd., Garnet Valley, PA. A Memorial Service will follow at 11:00 AM. Interment will be private.

Donations in Dante's memory may be made to the National Alliance on Mental Illness (www.nami.org). Online condolences can be shared at www.paganofuneralhome.com.
