Obituary of Linda M. Gibson

Linda M. Gibson, 84, of Linwood, PA, passed away on December 11, 2024, at Crozer Chester Medical Center. Born in Granville, NY, and raised in Chester, PA, Linda made Linwood her home for the past 52 years.

 

A proud graduate of Chester High School, Class of 1959, Linda worked as a customer service representative for the Dupont Co. Graphic Center in Boothwyn for 20 years before retiring. She was a former member of Linwood Heights United Methodist Church and a long time member of the the Eastern Star. She cherished spending time with her family and friends.

 

Linda especially enjoyed traveling, with fond memories of trips to Cape May, NJ, Granville, NY, and other destinations in upstate New York, often accompanied by her beloved sisters.

 

She is preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Edith Thomas Williams, sisters, Janice Castagna and Irene Fooks, and brother, John Williams. Linda is survived by her children, John (Vicky) Gibson, and Michele (Harold) Shull, grandchildren, Krystn Gibson, Matthew (Julia) McCusker, and Harry Shull, her great-grandsons, Dean, Wyatt and Matthew McCusker, siblings, Elda Harris, and Norma Verdensky, many nieces and nephews, and her special friend, Bob McMaster.

 

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 18, 2024, from 10-11AM at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd., Garnet Valley, PA, followed by funeral services at 11AM. Interment will take place at Lawn Croft Cemetery, Linwood, PA.
