Obituary of Barbara L. Fecondo

Barbara L. Fecondo, age 96, of Upper Chichester, PA, passed away peacefully at home on November 11, 2024. Born in Santa Ana, CA and raised in Silverado Canyon, CA, Barbara attended Valencia High School. A devoted homemaker, she spent over 70 years as a cherished resident of Upper Chichester, PA. Barbara was a longtime, active member of Memorial Presbyterian Church, where she served as an Elder and Sunday school teacher and contributed enthusiastically to the church's garage sales. In her younger years, she enjoyed roller skating, ballroom dancing, and was known as a master seamstress. A passionate Philadelphia Eagles fan, Barbara held season tickets for over 60 years and loved attending games. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Henry Mayer and Mabel (nee Smith) Kruger; her beloved husband, Joseph J. Fecondo, who passed in 2013; her son-in-law, Wayne Keeley, who passed in 2022; and her five siblings, Joyce, Pat, Darlene, Robin, and Joseph. She is survived by her three children, Joan Keeley, Linda Zebley, and Paul (Nancy) Fecondo; her four grandchildren, Kristin (Elijah Taylor) Zebley, Mark (Lindsay) Zebley, Kevin (Megan Shultz) Zebley, and Lara Schreiber; and six great-grandchildren, Luca, Giulian, Grady, Lennon, Morgan, and Quinn. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 19, 2024, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd., Garnet Valley, PA, followed by funeral services at 11:00 a.m. Interment will take place at Lawn Croft Cemetery, Linwood, PA. In lieu of flowers, donations in Barbara's memory may be made to Memorial Presbyterian Church, 3217 Chichester Ave., Upper Chichester, PA 19061.
