Obituary of Joseph A. Migatz Jr.

Joseph A. Migatz Jr., age 69, of Garnet Valley, PA, passed away on November 10, 2024, at Riddle Memorial Hospital. Born in Philadelphia he was raised in the Overbrook section of West Philadelphia, Joe resided in Garnet Valley for the past 27 years. Joe was a dedicated foreman in the landscaping industry for two decades before retiring in 2002 due to illness. Earlier in his career, he worked for Pep Boys for 17 years. A proud graduate of St. Thomas Moore High School, Class of 1973, Joe was known for his love of family and cherished their gatherings. He was also passionate about working on cars and was always willing to lend a hand to those in need of his skills. Joe is predeceased by his mother, Anne P. O'Donnell Migatz, Esq., and his infant son, Joseph A. Migatz III, who passed away in 1990. He is survived by his devoted wife of 47 years, Karen M. D'Andrea Migatz; his beloved daughters, Ashlee Migatz and Felicia Migatz; his father, Joseph A. Migatz Sr. and his four cherished grandchildren, Sierra Scott, Olivia Wade, Willow Wade, and Enzo Migatz. Funeral services and interment will be held privately.
