Obituary of Edward D. Kline Sr.

Edward D. "Ed" Kline Sr., age 68 of Trainer, PA passed away peacefully on November 7th, 2024 at his home surrounded by family. Born in Chester, PA, Ed was a lifelong resident of Trainer. Ed worked for Trainer Borough in the Highway Maintenance Department for 42 years retiring in 2021. He graduated from Chichester High School, class of 1974. Ed was a firefighter for the Trainer Fire Department where he was an Honorary Member. He enjoyed going to the casinos and was a Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies fan. In addition to his parents, John and Thelma Hurst Kline, Ed is preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Lockwood and Lillian Clark. He is survived by his wife of 13 years, Marcia Kline, son, Edward D. Kline Jr., two stepdaughters, Kelly (Stephen) Sheridan and Patricia (Dustin) Ward, three siblings, Jack Kline, Doris Hoffman, and Loey, and grandchildren, Adrianna Kline, Abigail Sheridan, Aaron Ward, Colin Ward, and Gavin Ward. A visitation will be held on Thursday, November 14th, from 9-10AM at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd., Garnet Valley, PA followed by funeral services at 10AM.
