Obituary of Thomas R. April Jr.

Thomas R. April Jr., age 68, of Boothwyn, PA, passed away peacefully at home on November 5, 2024. Born in Chester and raised in Woodlyn, PA, Tom had been a resident of Upper Chichester for the past 35 years.

A dedicated service administrator, Tom was employed by Dell Chevrolet Auto Group in Paoli for over 30 years, where he was a proud member of the Service Manager Club. He graduated from Ridley High School, Class of 1973, and served his country in the U.S. Air Force during peacetime.

Tom found joy in life's simple pleasures: visiting the Borgata in Atlantic City, relaxing at the beach, and listening to music. His greatest happiness, however, came from spending time with his beloved daughters and grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas R. Sr. and Martha Taylor April. Tom is survived by his devoted wife of 32 years, Patricia J. Young April; his daughters, Jennifer Ragonese, Allison Knight, and Lindsey April; his sister, Marie (Bob) Wagner; and his four cherished grandchildren, Raymond, Rachel, Robbie, and Emily.

Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Monday, November 11, 2024, from 10:00 to 11:00 AM, at Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd., Garnet Valley, PA. A memorial service will follow at 11:00 AM. Interment will be private.
