Obituary of Dorothy M. Chandler

Dorothy M. Chandler, age 93, of Garnet Valley, PA passed away peacefully at her home on September 16, 2024. Born to Warren and Alma V. (nee Hanby) Martine in Wilmington, DE, Dorothy has resided within Bethel Township since 1960. She was an active member of Chadds Ford Baptist Church where at one time, Dorothy sang in the church choir and was the church soloist. She was also involved in Tuesday Ladies Bible Study. Dorothy previously attended Marcus Hook Baptist. Most of all, Dorothy was devoted to her home and family.

In addition to her parents, Dorothy is preceded in death by her husband, Ferris E. Chandler Jr., daughter, Kimberly DiGiacoma, grandson, Alex Cirineo, and eight siblings. She is survived by 3 children, Ferris J. (Donna) Chandler, Warren "Lance" (Kathy) Chandler, and Michele (Sabri) Azzam, grandchildren, Amy (Michael) Gainor, Jason Chandler, Jeremy (Aileen) Chandler, Michael (Tori) DiGiacoma, and Sean DiGiacoma, and 13 great-grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Friday, September 27 from 10:00 - 11:00AM at Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd, Garnet Valley, PA followed by a funeral service at 11;00AM.
