Obituary of Myrtle D. Thomas

Myrtle D. Thomas, age 72, of Chadds Ford, PA, passed away peacefully at her home on September 10, 2024. Born in Thorndale, PA, and raised in Mendenhall, PA, Myrtle spent the last six years in Chadds Ford, after previously residing in Honeybrook and West Chester. A dedicated homemaker, Myrtle found her greatest joy in spending time with her beloved grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Lewis B. Smith and Eleanor Guest Smith, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Thomas, and her siblings, Elwood Smith and Mona Lisa Gerald. Myrtle is survived by her loving daughter, Kristina March; her cherished grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Kyle March, and three brothers, Jeffrey, Carl, and Larry Smith. A graveside service will be held on Monday, September 16, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Union Hill Cemetery, 424 N. Union St., Kennett Square, PA.
