Obituary of Thomas E. Lucas

Thomas E. Lucas, age 56, of Glen Mills, PA, passed away suddenly on August 25, 2024. Born in Chester, PA, Tom was raised and educated in Ridley Township. Tom has resided in Glen Mills for the past 15 years, previously residing in Wallingford, PA.

Tom was a dedicated father. He was a family man who put his children first. He had a contagious smile and jolly laugh. He was dependable, kind and always willing to lend a hand to family and friends. Tom, along with his children, enjoyed their summers at Tuckahoe Acres, DE, where they spent their days boating and enjoying the company of friends and family. Tom excelled in craftsmanship and this was displayed in his work, he owned and operated Lucas Fencing for the past 30 years, where he had the opportunity for his son to work alongside him. In his spare time, he enjoyed working on his Mercury Cougar in his garage and listening to his favorite tunes. Tom is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas E. and Joyce J. (Figard) Lucas, and his sister, Patrice Lucas. He is survived by his two children, Justin Lucas and Lauren Lucas; his sisters, Joyce (Gary) Doberstein and Lisa Luczeczko; his former wife, Kelly Stafford; as well as many nieces and nephews; Billy, Traci, Jessica, Laura, Krysta, Kaci, Grace and Katelyn. 

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 4, 2024 from 9:30-11:00AM at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd., Garnet Valley, PA, followed by a Funeral Liturgy at 11:00AM.
