Obituary of Marion Louise Worrell

Marion Louise Worrell, age 77, of Marcus Hook, PA, passed away on June 9, 2024 at her home. She was born to Earl and Marion Greenman Calhoun in Chester, PA and she was a life long resident of Marcus Hook, PA. She worked at J.C. Penny's for 25 years before becoming a teacher's assistant at Hilltop Elementary School for 10 years before finally retiring. Marion loved her students at Hilltop Elementary School and they loved her. She enjoyed reading, going to the beach with her grandchildren, and spending time with her cat "Simba." Everyone loved Marion, her smile would brighten anyone's day. In addition to her parents, Marion is preceded in death by her husband, William Worrell, her daughter, Sherry Hartsook, and her sister, Doris Calhoun Mclaughlin. She is survived by her son Brian Worrell, 5 siblings, Linda (Tom) Briggs, Margaret Calhoun (Rich) Hietala, Debbie (Joe) Galvin, Sue (Larena) Calhoun and Richard (Kim) Calhoun, 4 grandchildren; Kayla Worrell, and Nox, David, and Richard Hartsook, and a great-granddaughter, Sherry Hartsook. A visitation for Marion will be held on Thursday, June 13 from 6:00-7:00pm at Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd, Garnet Valley, PA followed by a memorial service at 7pm.
