Obituary of Brooks C. Welch Jr.

Brooks C. Welch Jr., age 61 of Glen Mills, PA passed away peacefully on May 19, 2024 at his home. Born in West Chester and raised in Downingtown, PA, Brooks was a longtime resident of Glen Mills. Brooks worked as a machine operator for PQ Corporation for 10 years until 2017 due to illness, previously working for Sonoco Paper Division in Downingtown for 25 years. He enjoyed hunting fishing, riding his Harley, the outdoors, and loved going to the Dushore mountain house. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his children, and grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Brooks C. Sr. and Barbara Sheehan Welch, Brooks is preceded in death by his brother, Mark Welch. He is survived by his wife, Karen Denning Welch, three children, twins, Amanda (Rob) Lammey and Brooks (Alexandra) Welch III, and Lianne (Zach) Litwin, five siblings, Chuck (Anne) Welch, Joe (Beth) Welch, Pat (Donna) Welch, John Welch, Bernadette (Frank) Neil, Barb and John Hughes, and Kelly Denning, niece, Bethanne Hughes, and five grandchildren, A.J., Sailer, Harlow, Lukas and Brooks IV.
