Obituary of Maria Elena Stillwell

Maria Elena "Helen" Stillwell, age 86, of Claymont, DE passed away on April 27, 2024a t her home. Born to Ramon Arce and Estefania Tejada Arce in the Philipines, Helen has resided in Claymont for 30 years, previously residing in Ardmore, PA. Devoted to her faith, Helen was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church. She liked to crochet and enjoyed spending time with her friends, especially at cocktail hour. Helen met her husband while commuting to her job in New York City on Amtrak where he was a conductor. In addition to her parents, Helen is preceded in death by her husband, Robert P. Stillwell, who passed in 2021, and a daughter, Veronica McNelly. She is survived by 7 children, Jeanne Bolinas, Daniel (Sandra) Bolinas, Roberto (Angela) Bolinas Jr., Cecille (Dennis) Boznango, Bettina (Chris) Baltazar, Andres (Vivian) Bolinas, and Gabriel Bolinas, and 12 grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 1st, from 9:30-10:30AM at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 3200 Philadelphia Pike, Claymont, DE followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30AM.
