Jim and I were so sorry to see Joan’s obituary online. What special memories we have of Joan and Gene. My favorite is when the men were up on the North Slope and the wives and kids would all gather at Joan’s house for grilled cheese and tomato soup! She was a special lady - always sending the funniest birthday cards and never missing our birthdays. Mine is coming up in May and I will miss her card but I will have a smile thinking of her. She loved to cook and we would love to pop in at their home in Millsboro for a short visit and many laughs. Love to all.
