Obituary of William H. Cooper

William H. Cooper of Glen Mills, PA passed peacefully in his sleep on Saturday, March 2, 2024 at the age of 100. Born in Ashburn, MO, he grew up in the St. Louis Masonic Home. After serving in WWII as a B-29 bomber mechanic, he graduated from Washington University in St. Louis. The bulk of his professional career was with the DuPont Company in Wilmington, DE as a mechanical engineer. Upon retirement, he continued as an avid lifelong gardener and enjoyed foreign travel, visiting family, and vacations in Bethany Beach. He is survived by his wife of 74 years, Jeanne, children, William, Gary, and Karen, three grandsons, his brother, Milton, six nieces, and one great-grandson. Services will remain private.
