Amy you had a heart of pure gold. You were a joy, and a loyal friend. I'm devastated to know that I will never spend any more time with you, or be with you on your journey of achieving more goals and the happiness you deserved.

Amy and I would go out and do karaoke at least once a week. I haven't been out, but I know she used to go out with my nephew and his girlfriend a couple times.
Hugs to the family, rest assured Heaven has gained a Angel for their Choir

Since they were in fourth grade at the Christian Academy, Amy claimed my daughter as a best friend. They were frequently in and out of each other's houses as they explored life together: in middle school, singing and creating cartoon characters, decorating teddy bears and Christmas trees, and curling and spraying their bangs to feel oh so grown up. High school added Bible quizzing, choir retreats, and interest in boys. Amy even came with us on a week-long family vacation to the Poconos where Susan and she took hikes, rowed boats, put on a skit and celebrated "everybody's birthday," Through the ups and downs of their lives, there have been long talks, laughter and tears, and loving hugs. Even when Susan moved thousands of miles away, they still kept in touch. One characteristic that stands out to me when I think of Amy is her generosity - she loved to shower presents on those she loved when there was a special occasion, or for no reason at all. May the Lord Jesus comfort those who miss Amy so much, but may they also rejoice in the hope of heaven. Christine Walton

Back in the 1990’s, Amy was my children’s FAVORITE babysitter (mine, too!). I remember coming home one evening and hearing what sounded like the voice of an angel singing upstairs. Walking up the stairs, I wondered which beautiful radio station Amy and the kids were listening to. Imagine my surprise to discover it was Amy singing as she rocked our youngest in her arms and tucked the kids into bed. Amy melted our hearts that night. And now, “our angel” is the one being held—in the arms of her Savior—singing with Him forever!

Words are failing me right now, but know that I am thinking of all of you and praying for you as you work through the loss of Amy. She was a wonderful friend and will be missed. I have so many good memories of times shared with her and I am grateful to have reconnected the past few years.
