Obituary of Ruth Anna Overbey

Ruth Anna Overbey, age 68 of Claymont, DE passed away on January 23, 2024 at AccentCare at Christiana Hospital. Born and raised in Converse, IN, Ruth resided over 40 years in Claymont, DE. She was a nurse for over 30 years working for various institutions, retiring in 2022. Ruth was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed baking, singing, playing the piano, socializing, and being with her grandchildren. Ruth is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Alice "Earlene" Renbarger Gribbin and is survived by three children, Kris Overbey, Keith (Lynda) Overbey and Kurt Overbey, and grandchildren, Charles and Alexa Overbey. Funeral Services will be held Saturday 2/10 at 10:30am at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. 143 Dickinson Lane, Wilmington, DE 19807.
