Obituary of Frances A. Eggleston

Frances A. Eggleston, age 86 of Garnet Valley, PA died peacefully on December 23, 2016 surrounded by her loving family. Born to the late Michael & Anna Jacobs Sadler, she was raised & educated in Landsdowne, MD graduating from Catonsville High School. Frances has resided in Garnet Valley for the past 8 years previously residing in Western Shores, MD & Linthicum, MD. She was employed by the State of Maryland in Social Services as a clerk. She was a longtime member of Our Savior Lutheran Church and her hobbies were shopping & crocheting. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Howard Eggleston who died in 1997 and 3 sisters, Joan Gerben, Helen Faulkner & Ruth Lehman. Frances is survived by 3 daughters, Susan (Leonard) Worthington, Linda Vidziunas & Debra (Michael) DeFronzo, a sister,Mary O'Melia, 9 grandchildren & 15 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 29th, 2016, 9:00AM at Our Savior Lutheran Church, 141 Lavern Ave., Halethorpe, MD 21227 where friends may call from 8:30-9AM. Interment will be held at Crownsville Veterans Cemetery, Crownsville, MD. Donations in her memory may be made to Chesapeake Bay Foundation (www.cbf.org).
