Obituary of Eugenia Korchynsky

Eugenia Korchynsky, age 100, of Brookhaven, PA died on February 19, 2016 at Brandywine Hall in West Chester, PA. Born in Vienna, Austria, she resided for the past 29 years in Brookhaven previously residing in Chester, PA. Eugenia Immigrated from the Ukraine to Germany, and at the age of 35, she arrived at Ellis Island, U.S. and eventually settled in Chester PA. Devoted to her faith, she became a lifelong member of Holy Ghost Church and Choir in Chester. In addition to being a homemaker, in her early years she was employed by Shane Meat Packing Co. in Chester. Eugenia is preceded in death by her husband, Walter Korchynsky and 4 siblings. She is survived by her son, Ihor "Kork" (Marianne) Korchynsky, daughter, Nadia K. (Ed) Crist and a sister, Nadia Youczshyn, 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, 2:00PM at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd., Garnet Valley, PA where friends may call from 1-2PM. Interment, Lawn Croft Cemetery, Linwood, PA.
