Obituary of Glen Dale Williamson

Glen "Dale" "Poppop" Williamson, age 81 of Aston, PA passed away peacefully at home on January 30, 2024 surrounded by his loving family. Born and raised in Stone, KY, Dale resided for the past 53 years in Aston, PA. Dale enlisted into the Navy the day he graduated from high school. He later obtained the trade as Boilermaker, retiring in 1994. Dale had a love for his country and was a member of the American Legion Post 926 in Aston as well as the American Legion Post 336 in Fort Myers. Dale enjoyed spending winters in North Fort Myers, FL with his wife where he was active in his community, Old Bridge Village. In his earlier years, Dale's hobbies included golfing, and at one time, hunting at his mountain house in Tioga County, PA. In addition to his parents, Oliver and Estaline Williamson, Dale is preceded in death by his wife, Susan Bair Williamson. He is survived by two children, Dawn (Mark Harris) Brooks and Anthony Dale (Monica) Williamson, three grandchildren, Dale (Erin Smith) Brooks, Kristen (David) Moler and Nicole Williamson, 3 great grandchildren, Jackson and Jordan Brooks and Lucas Moler. A visitation will be held on Saturday from 2:00-3:00PM at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd., Garnet Valley, PA followed by a 3PM Memorial Service.
