Obituary of Susan L. Moyer

Susan L. Moyer “Sue” age 74 of Boothwyn, PA passed away peacefully on January 20, 2024, at Riddle Memorial Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Chester, PA, and raised in Norwood and Brookhaven, PA by her parents, Joseph and Irene Stephens. She was a 1967 graduate of Sun Valley High School. Sue then obtained her Associate Degree at Brandywine Junior College. She worked as a Medical Secretary for Dr. Joseph in Drexel Hill, PA for many years before retiring in 2008. Sue was an avid bowler and served as secretary for her bowling club. She was a wonderful neighbor and friend to everyone who lived in her Creekside Village condominium building. There, she assisted in organizing the annual Christmas party for her condo residents. She was seen weekly in the lobby of the condo playing Scrabble with friends.  Sue greatly enjoyed being a grandmother. She spent time with her grandchildren making crafts, watching shows and movies, cooking and baking with them, and attending their sporting events and activities. She loved giving, particularly at Christmastime. She also enjoyed traveling to the Outer Banks, visiting Las Vegas, and going on approximately thirty cruises with her husband. She loved spending time with her family and friends and would bake and decorate cakes for them often. She would do anything for anyone, anytime. In addition to her parents, Sue is preceded in death by her sister Judith Cooper. She is survived by her devoted husband Stephen Moyer whom she shared 53 wonderful years of marriage, her daughter Christie (David) Crispin, sister-in-law Florence Moyer, and 5 grandchildren; Austin, Amber, Rebecca, Rachel, and Sarah. A visitation for Sue will be held on Saturday, January 27, 2024 from 9:30AM-11AM at Pagano Funeral Home 3711 Foulk Rd, Garnet Valley, PA 19060. A Memorial Service will follow at 11AM.
